The G44 is a compact size pistol (GLOCK 19) with the ability to fit almost any hand size using the different backstraps provided with the pistol. The G44 comes with a GLOCK Marksman barrel (GMB) for greater precision and accuracy. Also OEM Glock 44 threaded barrel, 22LR, barrel threaded M9 x .75 RH and comes with .500-28 (1/2 × 29) adapter and thread protection, fits G44 only. Just got my G44. ..shots are great but the main reason to buy it...lots of cheap ammo to shoot...it weighs nothing...never pulls my pants down to carry it all day long....below. Buy one line
Got a new Glock 44 and it continued to twist out of range - very enjoyable gun shooting! Obviously the trigger was "fun" after shooting a Sig Legion, but easily got used to after a magazine or two. It's a Glock—get on it. It will also work with aftermarket triggers for the Gen 5 G19. Inexpensive to shoot, reasonably accurate and just plain fun! Everyone who owns a Glock should get one in .22 LR and some bricks. Use high speed RDS to ensure good cycling. And cleaning - a typical Glock (joy!)
Had a great practical pistol similar to the g19 but not as heavy. Some things inside are different. 10's and 1's want to hold more rounds with no problems and it's just a glock fire every time. Thanks Glock
Glock 22 Gen3 Aus Rtf2 *used* .40 S&w, 4.48\
Have had my g44 for about a week and well worth the wait. Put about 500 rounds through it, with one problem, it doesn't like remington thunderbolts, lots of hits and every case split, not sure why, maybe the chamber is fluted?
I am a Glock fan. Had to get my 3rd Glock after 17 gen4 and 19x since the anniversary came up. I bought it for the same reason some of you bought it. The cost of ammunition is very low and the cost of the G44 does not affect the pocket book much.
My G44 ran great out of the box. Tried different brands of ammo and fired them all, only one stove pipe in 200 rounds. I would recommend it, very light and fun to shoot.
I got shot for the first time last night. 150 round cci mini-mag. Great gun, a lot of fun to shoot. Not a single misfire. I wonder about the motivation behind the negative reviews posted on the internet. I hear people say, “I don’t like Glocks.” Well, anyway, all I know is when I need to carry for self-defense, the Glock is my go-to gun. It does exactly as I would expect. My vote is to get one! Very fun and great for training.
Review: Glock M44 .22 Lr Pistol
After looking at many reviews, I expected nothing but problems from this gun. I work at a gun shop and own a few Glocks so I bought it as a guinea pig to see if it was as bad as everyone said. I broke down, cleaned and oiled the gun before hitting the lock. Just got back from my first round trip with 250 thunderbolts and 50 mini mags and I only had 1 foot in 300 rounds and 1 failure to lock the slide back. The only common complaint so far is that this gun won't sight me. It still shoots 4" high at 12. I hope Glock fixes that because the factory rear sight has no adjustment to go down, so this gun needs a higher sight to shoot well, hence the 4 stars. . A new front sight will see this gun a lot of range time. Maybe One of my favorites to shoot in. I don't regret my purchase.
After owning and carrying a GLOCK G19 '9mm' for many years, I chose to purchase the G44 for my wife. A new shooter, zero experience with my aim, so this is a fearless factor for him. Less recoil, less noise, just 100% comfortable, fun shooting experience. That's what this GLOCK delivers! If you shoot quality ammo 40 or higher, you won't have misfires. Some rounds in my 9mm have to be intentionally reloaded 'half powder' so I'll occasionally have a stovepipe, feed failure, etc. for practice purposes! These guns are 100% reliable, easy to shoot, work, and I bet my life on their reliability!
Bought in February 2020 and love it. A month later I bought 2 ProMag 18 round magazines. Forget bulk ammo that uses quality ammo like CCI. This gun is definitely dead when you point and shoot. Polished action and full trigger upgrade to a 3 pound faster and dry trigger..
I bought this pistol when it first became available. I put hundreds of rounds through this gem. The bullets used vary from bulk finishes to high match grades. The Myb44 never turns out to be a fun pistol to shoot. likes
Glock 17 Gen. 4 Review: Best Handgun For Beginner
Bought this Glock 44 about 6/7 months ago, even though the reviews were bad about reliability. I've put hundreds of rounds through it and never once had a problem with any of them. Just goes to show you that you can't rely on all the reviews. It's a good gun to shoot. Inexpensive to shoot and great for a beginner and an experienced shooter like me. Highly recommend.
Got rid of my Taurus TX 22 Lr and bought one after oiling and cleaning as per instruction manual. 500 rounds later in CCI mini mags and a stove top. My gun is dead center so I was lucky I have an extended slide set and good thing it's a glock for cleaning duty. I put in a custom trigger with a 3 lb pull. No regrets at all. I got a hog pistol grip and it fits like a glove. I use it to warm up my Glock 17 gen 5 before using it with the same internals and customizations as my Glock 44. If you look around, there are parties outside. It uses the same extended slide lock and extended slide release as my Glock 17. Also both guns got a brass slide stacker pull and both are the same size. So no guessing. Alas! 3.0 connector on both arms. So, my Glock 17 and Glock 44 are identical in everything except weight, obviously. Although it only has a 10 round magazine, you won't regret getting this gun. Ask virtually any gun enthusiast to describe a Glock pistol and you'll invariably hear the words simple, reliable, and rugged. Through the company's insatiable quest for perfection, the Glock Gen4 redesign is an improvement on this legendary perfection.
You may also hear terms like popular and ubiquitous, as Glock saw a 73 percent increase in sales last year, with 72 percent of the nation's law enforcement officers carrying Glocks. Glock pistols are regularly featured in movies and TV shows and promote brand loyalty, fueling fierce competition and humorous stories galore. Here's a good thing: The 1911 is what you show your friends. Glock is what you show your enemies. A Glock Gen4.
As for the reliability of Glocks: they work... pull the trigger and they go bang every time. You can
